The Museum exposition reveals Latvia’s military political history with a special emphasis on the 20th century, a period during which the Latvian people had to fight to gain their independence on two occasions.

There are exhibitions about themes in medieval and modern military history, events of the First and Second World Wars, the proclamation of the independent Latvian nation, the battles for freedom, and the creation of the state. One can view extensive collections of weapons, medals, uniforms and other items at the Museum.
